As a colorist and stylist of Isabelle’s Okyo for over 10 years, Mikel James has built his reputation in Washington DC for over 30 years by being one of the first colorist in Washington DC to be certified by the “American board of certified Hair colorist”. His knowledge and expertise in color lead him to be invited as a guest to the Oprah Winfrey show in 1994. Mikel James has been recognized throughout his years by major news magazine (allure, Washingtonian magazine,as well as several professional hair magazine,) and had the pleasure to work with television and news personalities such as Jaimie Gangel, Andrea Mitchell, Candy Crowley, Laura Evans.
